Aluminum Profile Production Process

About the aluminium profiles for windows and doors production process:

1. Ingredients: According the addition amount of various alloy components according to the specific alloy grades to be produced, and reasonably match various raw materials.
2. Smelting: Put the prepared raw materials into the melting furnace for melting according to the process requirements, and effectively remove the slag and gas in the melt by degassing, slag removal and other refining means.
3. Casting: Under certain casting process conditions, the smelted aluminum liquid is cooled and cast into round casting rods of various specifications through the deep well casting system.
4. Extrusion: Extrusion is the means of forming aluminum profiles. First, design and manufacture the mold according to the cross-section of the aluminum profile product, and use the extrusion machine to extrude the heated round cast rod from the mold. The commonly used grade is 6063 alloy , an air-cooling quenching process and a subsequent artificial aging process are also required during extrusion to complete heat treatment strengthening. Different brands of heat-treatable strengthening alloys have different heat treatment systems.
5. Coloring and oxidation: Extruded aluminum alloy profiles have poor surface corrosion resistance, so surface treatment must be performed through anodizing to increase the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance of the aluminum material. The main process is for:
(1) Surface pre-processing: Use chemical or physical methods to clean the surface of the aluminum profile to expose the pure substrate, so as to obtain a complete and dense artificial oxide film, and also obtain a mirror or matte surface by mechanical means;
(2) Anodizing: After surface pre-processing, under certain process conditions, anodizing occurs on the surface of the substrate to form a layer of dense, porous, and strong adsorption AL203 film;
(3) Sealing: Seal the pores of the porous oxide film formed after anodizing, so that the anti-pollution, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the oxide film are enhanced. The oxide film is colorless and transparent, and the oxidation film before sealing is used Strong adsorption, adsorption and deposition of some metal salts in the membrane pores, so that the surface of the profile shows many colors other than the original color.
