Garden Hose Production Process

Garden hose pipes made of PVC are produced using the extrusion method of making plastic. 1. PVC granules should first be heated in a heated extruder. The granules are melted in the extruder and forced through a die, which is a metal plate molded into the final shape of the garden hose. 
2. To retain the correct shape of the hose pipe, the molten PVC is then cooled and hardened in a water bath. 
3. Next, the pipe is cut to the required length, which is often 25, 50 or 100 feet. 
4. Connected fittings, such as connectors and nozzles, are affixed to the hose pipe's ends as necessary. 
5. The garden hose pipes are then quality-checked before being shipped in their packaging.
