Expandable Vacum Hose Production Process

Five phases make up the PVC fiber-reinforced hose production process:

  1.   Setting up the materials, such as the PVC resin, stabilizer, plasticizer, and fiber yarn. 

The PVC resin is generally in the form of powder and is blended with the stabilizer, plasticizer, etc. to form a plasticizing mixture. Stabilizer helps to stabilize the PVC resin and prevent it from degrading or decomposing when exposed to heat. Plasticizer helps to make the PVC resin more flexible and easier to process. The fiber yarn is used to reinforce the hose and make it stronger.

2. Extrusion: To heat and combine the prepared ingredients, they are sent to the extruder. 

Extrusion is a process in which materials are heated and mixed in an extruder and then forced through a die to create a desired shape. It is commonly used in the production of PVC fiber-reinforced hoses.

3. Reinforcement: The reinforced fiber yarn encircles the core tube. 

To offer more sturdiness and stability, fiber yarn is wrapped around the core tube during reinforcement. To make sure that the hose can endure the pressure of being utilized in diverse applications, this step is required.

4. Cooling: The cooling water tank is where the hose is cooled. 

Cooling is the process of letting the hose cool after it has been extruded and strengthened in a cooling water tank. This procedure is required to maintain the hose's form and strength.

5. Hose formation: A mold is used to create the hose.

Hose forming is the process of shaping a hose into the required shape and size using a mold. The mold may be used to make a range of forms and sizes, including straight, curved, and helical shapes. After that, the hose is taken from the mold and chilled. The hose is ready to use after it has cooled.
